Claude Tremblay was born in Chicoutimi, Quebec in 1954. She enjoyed drawing as a young child but began her artistic career later in life after moving to Portneuf County, where she was inspired by the tranquility of nature. Tremblay’s figurative works feature landscape images of forests, meadows and waterfalls. Her unique painting style experiments with colour and light, while exploring their luminescent qualities. Her works can be found in both private and public collections throughout North America.
