Juan Aquino was born in Lima, Peru but immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1988. In 1982 he received a Bachelor of Art’s in psychology and pursued a career as a psychologist for 8 years (1977-1985). In 1997 he received a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from the University of Quebec. He was finally able to pursue his wish to create art and went on to exhibit his art in Canada, Peru, Mexico, Nicaragua and the United States. His fun, abstract and colourful personal style is more than meets the eye.
