Marcel Favreau (1921-2020) was a painter born in Montreal who dedicated his life to painting and teaching others. He was sensitive to the beauties of nature and his work reminds some of the late 19th century French masters’ art. He owned/directed his own art gallery for more than 30 years and dedicated himself to teaching drawing and painting to hundreds or students, many of whom have attained professional status in the field.
