Le Vieux Quai by Grondin

Gaétan Grondin was born in 1925. He applied his talents to a variety of mediums including painting with oil, acrylic painting asl well as pottery, ceramics. He studied throughout his career and earned internships in printmaking, tapestry, and painting in North America and Europe.

In 1980 he was awarded the Summer Art Grand Prix Trophy in the portrait category.

His painting can be found in various collections including Litho Acmé, Québec, Ministère des Affaires Culturelles, Québec, Moulin Marcoux, Pont-Rouge, and Musée du Séminaire, Québec. He also taught at Université du Québec, Trois-Rivières, and was director of Plastic.
