Carlo Cosentino

Carlo Cosentino began his career as an illustrator for CBS Graphics, which led him to his first contracts in 1981 with the Montreal Manic soccer team.

Almost immediately, Cosentino's career took off as he went on to paint oil portraits and sculpted bronze statues of star players from the Montreal Expos baseball team. He received distinct honours for his works nationally and internationally.

His career highlights include being commissioned by the Montreal Board of Trade to create a promotional poster of the city, and being commissioned to paint the portrait of legendary racecar driver Gilles Villeneuve.

His works are in the permanent collections of many Canadian art galleries, and are also part of several private and corporate art collections.

Biography

After a successful 9 years as a painter and sculptor, in 1990 he chose to concentrate solely on the art of painting. Since his first solo exhibition in 1991, Carlo’s works have enticed art enthusiasts and collectors around the world.

His works are in the permanent collections of many Canadian art galleries, and are also part of several private and corporate art collections.
